Acupuncture

I just went for the first acupuncture in my life.

In case some of you didn know, yours truly was stuck in bed for the past three days due to a supposedly gastric pain. The pain is excruciating in the morning and at night, making me unable to get off bed to go to work, or to get to sleep in the first place.

The first day the pain started at 2 in the morning, and so my dad went to get medicine for me all the way from Ang Mo Kio. And I had to bear the pain while I was performing.

Second day the pain did not subside at all, and my parents brought me to a doctor. Seemed to work a little, my pain subsided for a while. But at night it attacked again, leaving me weak and nauseous.

Today, the third day, my parents brought me to another doctor, who gave me my first acupuncture. Is it scary? Hm, except for some that are more painful, the whole experience was quite fine. Plus the doctor keep trying to divert the attention away from the needles, that helped a lot.

But through this experience, I really thank my parents. Due to their vast network of friends, we are able to get priority to see these 2 doctors who are semi retired actually. And my parnts brought me down specially though one of them had to work and the other one had to take care of my sis house. They also had to take extra care of my daily meals. This experience is painful, but at least I also taste sweetness out of it.
